There is so much to say..but I will save that for another setting & day. But in the meantime, I hope you know that you all have a special place in my heart.

I wish I could just take a day off from work to work on this site. Though much progress has been made, much work still needs to be completed. But I think all the real hard stuff is out of the way. And I was finally able to replace the picture that Jen dreaded so much. I really don’t see what was wrong with that picture, but then again…I’m a guy, what do I know right?
Our engagement dinner is fast approaching, followed closely by our food taste testing/selecting. I’m excited for both since both events require the consumption of mass quantities of delicious food. Speaking of which, my weight loss quest is going pretty well, but I need to pick up the pace since there are less than 3 weeks until that November 1st deadline. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, one of Jen’s bridesmaids (the evil Lisa Ma) and me have engaged in a bitter and heated bet over the past 2 months over who could lose more weight/body fat before the engagement dinner on November 1. Like I said earlier, time to pick it up the pace which means, no more buffets!!
okay that’s all for now, enjoy the new pics. I’ll hopefully post some more later when I find some time.
Hey guys,
Can I just say it out in the open?? That picture of us on the “welcome” page is quite the *unflattering* picture!! haha.. We will be replacing it as soon as we get the chance… But let me just explain the background of this picture. Yes, I look a tad “off” there, definately moreso then Denny does. It was actually taken at our downtown church location. It was one of those joint services and I was doing a children’s program with the kids, and Denny was helpin out as well. The children were watching a movie, hence the dark background and I was leaning back against those half doors (the doors that are cut into two and open seperately for both) and Denny was outside. Thats why the angle is off.. and everything just looks awkward! Denny… why did we use this one again?? haha..
Anyways.. looking at that picture this morning got me thinking.. “Man! Are we THAT unphotogenic? *cries*..” Well, maybe me more then Denny.. This past weekend, we celebrated our friend Peter’s (Denny’s bm) 26th birthday. What a celebration it was.. Anyhoos, Im starting to get off track.. But on Sunday, Denny and I scouted out some locals for our e-shoot. It was fun driving around and trying to be “creative” when looking at different scenery. Now that its Monday afternoon, I dont know why exactly, but im starting to get nervous about doing our e-shoot! I feel like they’re so much pressure to try and display your emotions for each other onto camera.. But most importantly, to show them in the most “natural-est” way possible.
For those of you who do not know me.. Well, let me just say, Im not 100% fond of taking pictures to the point where I have a camera right in front of my face all the time. All of a suddent my body tenses up and I try to smile and be aux natural, however somewhere along the way my smile turns weird and my eyes/cheeks/lips form into this unnatural grin that I cant seem to control! haha.. Needless to say.. Im currently trying to prepare for this photo session mentally… Im really hoping that I will feel more comfortable on the day of.. and that everything will go smoothly. Thankfully for us, we have this super cool photographer named Claudia who can work wonders!
Im excited…and anxious… but a little more excited..

In exactly one week, both Jen and I are scheduled to go do our engagement photoshoot with our awesome photographer Claudia. We’ve never done a photoshoot before (usually I’m the one doing them for/of other people) however, both of us are pretty excited as well as nervous for this slightly daunting task. In terms of locations, we are going to keep those a secret for the time being, but we will gladly post some of the pics up once we get them.
As we quickly enter October, we are somewhat reaching the homestretch to this wedding of ours. Actually, not really…we’ll still have 8 months left come Oct. 6, but still…we should get cracking on things again. Speaking of which, this website should be 100% complete by Oct. 6, 2008. This will be my promise to all of you who actually come to our site.
Wish us luck!
Good afternoon~~
I’m taking a little break from work and would like to write about how excited I am for our big day! I’m excited AND nervous.. hehe..
Anyways, I was thinking about weddings, and all the work it takes to prepare for a wedding. For some people it may only take a few months, while for others it can take years! (how scary!) I remember going to some venues and bookings while we were in the early planning stages and when it came down to the nitty-gritty, we found out that some girls book them even before they get engaged! Thankfully.. we found a spot and a perfect date to be married.
When it comes to the wedding ceremony and the reception part… I feel as though there is so much pressure these days to make it bigger and better then the previous receptions/wedding ceremonies. So many times we engaged couples can get carried away with those things and forget to remember what its all about. What the whole purpose of planning such an incredible day is. Not only is it a day to show how much love there is for the two people getting married, its a day where two people’s individual lives come together as one.. and they are able to share their love for one another to the people in their lives. You know, as much as you may know someone.. you really get to understand them even if its just a little bit more, through the way they present their wedding and reception. Now, I’m not refering to the decor and the cake.. I’m talking about the ways in which they show their love for one another..the little things.
I know many of you probably hate PDA and such, but.. I really want my wedding day to be a day where I can share to all of you just how much Denny Kim means to me. It’s going to be one of the most amazing days of my life.. and it’s also a day where I will get out of this comfort zone of mine.. and show those who may not know me completely.. a little part of who I am and how much I love him.

Hey everyone and welcome to our blog! We’re not sure how often we’re going to update this thing, but we both agree that it is an invaluable tool to keep you guys posted on our exciting and sometimes stressful journey called getting married. We can’t believe it’s already been almost 7 months since we got engaged!! Thankfully to Jen, we have most of the big things finished (this part was written by Jen) and thanks be to Denny for being such an awesome fiance (also written by Jen).
Over the next few weeks/months, we’ll share with you guys some random thoughts and insights on this wonderful process. Feel free to leave us comments/ideas/constructive criticism that will help us along the way. In the mean time, we hope you enjoy this website and thank you for being a part of our journey!
